Abstract:：The three-body problem concerns the motion of three celestial bodies moving in space in accordance with 
Newton’s law of universal gravitation. It has a long history and it has great impact on several mathematical fields. But 
yet, many fundamental questions remain open to this date. In this talk I will briefly describe its history, some recent 
progresses, and perspectives of its future developments.
